01 / ABOUT
I've spent much of my career taking ownership of software systems from beginning to end.
Architecture, development, databases, integrations, infrastructure, deployment, and production support. I've worked across the entire stack, often as the sole engineer responsible for making everything work together.
I enjoy solving problems that don't have obvious answers, understanding how systems work, and finding better ways to build them.
And after more than two decades, I'm still just as interested in what technology makes possible.

02 / EXPERIENCE
A selection of the platforms, engineering challenges, and systems I've worked on throughout my career.
Designed and built a replacement production platform from scratch, consolidating functionality from three legacy systems and migrating the company’s sites within one year. Improved reliability, security, and the member experience.
Independently built five platforms spanning affiliate tracking, offerwalls, and panel and rewards technology. Continued as the sole engineer at Sago for an incentive marketing membership platform supporting millions of annual sessions and thousands of transactions per hour.
Designed and developed a TALL Stack e-commerce platform fully integrated with a custom ERP backend, connecting customer-facing applications with internal business processes and data.

Technology has changed tremendously throughout my career. The part I enjoy most hasn't changed: figuring out what's possible and making it work.
Applying AI-assisted development to implementation, refactoring, testing, and code analysis, and exploring agentic workflows with architecture, maintainability, and human review guiding the work.
Designing modular applications, reusable components, and systems that remain maintainable as they evolve.
Connecting applications, eliminating repetitive work, and building practical automation systems.
Exploring developer tools, self-hosted solutions, technical experiments, and ideas for useful software.
